I have a strange obsession with nesting dolls. I had one growing up—well, I still have it but don’t play with it anymore, haha—and ever since then I always have to fight the urge to buy them.Β
Anonymous: I'd be careful about using the pastoral title, unless you've been through Titus "ordained" ship, and at least a few other things...I wouldn't use the word pastor.I’m also careful about taking “advice” from people who don’t care enough about me to advise me personally and not anonymously. I may not be legally ordained, but then again neither are most adults who are “youth pastors”. Pastor means shepherd, and not that I’m trying to boost myself up, but that’s what I’ve been doing with the youth for the past two years. I don’t just get up there and give a sweet little bible lesson. It’s an unpaid full-time job. Preparing sermons, organizing trips and events, one-on-one discipleship, and everything else that comes with the job. I promise that I won’t be trying to start up my own official church and telling people that I’m ordained. I appreciate your concern, though.
